IMG_9292_edit_1200x550   Sedona Shuttle Connect extended service hours Due to popular demand, Sedona Shuttle Connect is offering extended service hours from 6:30 AM until 8:30 PM daily during spring break, March 3 to April 27, 2025. Sedona residents and visitors will now be able to get a ride out to dinner or meet up with friends in the evening, without having to worry about driving their car. In addition, they can use Sedona Shuttle Connect to go shopping in Uptown, visit Gallery Row, connect with the Sedona Shuttle Trailhead Routes or go almost anywhere in Sedona. And wherever they go, the fare is only $2 per ride or $1 for seniors (60 and up). “We heard from residents that they wanted to use the service into the evening, so during busy season, we’re testing to see if later hours are popular. If they are, we’ll consider offering later service hours past April 27th. We hope these extended hours will make everyone’s travels easier during the busy spring break season,” said Deputy City Manager Andy Dickey. Taking over the position from retiring Robert Weber, Wagner started the position on Feb. 27, 2025 and will manage transit planning, grants administration, operations and maintenance, and budget. Through her work in municipalities, especially those heavily involved in tourism, Wagner has demonstrated strength in managing contractors and transit operations including fixed route and on-demand systems.  With over 15 years of experience in transit leadership, strategic planning and management, her most recent position was at Asheville Rides Transit (ART), in which she oversaw a $15 million budget. This role sharpened her ability to balance operational needs with fiscal constraints while maintaining high service standards. Wagner also has Arizona ties and transit experience from when she was the Transportation Mobility Manager at the Regional Transportation Authority in Pima County. “My work in Asheville underscores the critical role that effective transit plays in communities like Sedona, where connectivity can significantly influence economic vitality and quality of life,” said Wagner. “We could not have found a better fit than Amber, who truly provides the technical expertise and operational experience needed for our organization and community,” said Deputy City Manager Andy Dickey.    eNews Section Headers Sedona Shuttle DOWNLOAD THE APP-01 The TransLoc app allows you to request and pay for rides on Sedona Shuttle Connect.
